Review by hotel critic
Greetings from the bonnie city of Edinburgh! As a marine biologist captivated by the North Sea's allure, I value accommodations that embrace nature's beauty and sustainability. Staying at a hotel near the fjord is ideal, so Maritim Fjordhotel was an excellent choice for me during the festive season. The hotel exquisitely combines comfort with nature, offering a delightful view from both the cafeteria and rooms. the friendly and accommodating staff, coupled with a decent breakfast, made for a pleasant experience after an invigorating Preikestolen trek. Changing rooms to face the waterfront showcased their attentiveness. Although some noise could be heard from passing cars on the old bridge, the proximity to Grand Gastro provided a superb dining experience.
